MultiMat package came in today.
on: September 03, 2010, 09:29:05 PM
Well, I got a nice package from MultiMat, and I must say, he is generous. He included quite a few extras.

A group shot. I must say, opening this package was like Christmas. I was never sure what else I would find in there.

First up is a Spear & Jackson garden tool.

Overall it is well made. What I like most about this tool, the corkscrew. Guess it is for those drunk gardeners I hear about all the time.  :D

But that wasn’t it, he also generously included these goodies. At first I had assumed he packaged a shotgun shell. My first thought was that the sun got him finally, and that Canada customs are lax indeed if they let that through. But it wasn’t. Just an interestingly odd Italian knife. Likewise, I laughed at myself after figuring out that the square section is a file and not a magnet on the long Case knife. He even included a beautiful Leatherman pin that I did not have, along with a neat can opener/bottle opener.

Thank you MultiMat.  :salute:

I like that pin a lot. I'd have stuffed it onto a wooden knife handle :D

Are you trying to collect all multitools ever?

On a weird side note, my cat has taken a fancy to the Leatherman pin. Not sure why, but I had a real fun time looking all over the place for it. I finally found it in his cat bed (The last place I would look of course). That will teach me for leaving it on a side table.

Looks at the cat with squinty eyes. You are supposed to be my guard cat...not a frolicking crow with a tail!
