Got my PS4 yesterday, and 30 minutes after I came home with it I fastened the last scree to put it back together after modding it. Now I think it's perfect!


Not going to write a long article this time like I normally do as I think the 20 minutes of video contains all the information anyone would ever need (if not, use the "contact" button on top of this page and I'll answer any and all questions. If you can't stomach my bad spoken English, well then you should just be glad the review isn't in Norwegian as then you would understand absolutely nothing. So I'll just leave it at this: the PS4 is awesome, watch the bloody videos

56,017 people (of which I am one) clearly disagree with your advice to avoid this seller. She is one of the most reputable LM dealers around, and has been going for several years and built up an excellent business.

That's their prerogative, but when you take a week to ship an item you won't get that praise from me. He/She also overcharges for shipping by a factor of 250%, though I can live with that. The seller I bought the PS4 from shipped the item after 1 hour 20 minutes. The result is that I now have in my hands the PS4, while the S4 that I ordered 5 days earlier still hasn't shown up. Hence why I would highly suggest people avoid the seller if possible, unless they want to overpay for shipping and wait a week for it to ship

If you are going to trash a reputable business by telling people on an open forum to avoid using them, then:

a) You should consider that she has 56,017 positive feedback, i.e. transactions where people don't agree with you;

b) You should have a real complaint. Ebay sellers often take a week to ship things - were you promised different? Either way, it's trivial and doesn't justify advising people to avoid her on an open internet forum.

Actually I would be perfectly justified to suggest people avoid her if she used a font color I didn't like on the auction page. You see, opinions are those of the person who has them. I have stated the reasons why I don't recommend the seller, so people have the chance to decide for themselves. Now please get back to the topic which is the PS4

Who made you moderator?  Besides, it was you that started slagging off the ebay seller instead of just talking about the tool wasn't it? Am I supposed to only respond to the bits of your post that you want me to?

Seems to me that I have responded to something you posted - maybe you can see where I'm going with this.....

Just my opinion, which you can take or leave.....

I think you sound like a bright guy with some great ideas. I think that if you could be a little less, I dunno, aggressive(?), then people might stay off your case a bit. It would be a shame if you felt you couldn't contribute here, as I reckon you probably have loads to offer.

I bought a black PS4 from the same seller as Andreas. I received it within a week, so I think we were both quite lucky. Unfortunately I got one with rivets so no modding ....

Looking at the shipping terms and conditions ("Will usually ship within 3 business days of receiving cleared payment") I think a week is quite long. Also looking at the ebay feedback there were several problems with shipping lately, but ebay has no way to report this properly. I think Andreas just was extremely unlucky this time.

Some additions to the review.

I also own a Victorinox Mini Champ and use this tool mainly for personal hygiene (nail clipping etc), bottle opening and small electronic jobs (replacing batteries, wire stripping), so I am used to small scissors and find them quite practical for things like nail clipping and wire stripping (the real wire stripper in the Victorinox is completely useless). The scissors in both tools are the same size, but (as Andreas pointed out) the spring of the LM is not replacable and is there to last. One of the reasons why I bought the LM is because the springs (of the Victorinox) broke and it is very hard to get a replacement. One thing I don't like about the LM's scissors: the Victorinox scissors are more practical because they open a lot wider.

I have to disagree with Andreas about the nothches. The scissors, bottle opener and phillips screwdriver are almost inaccessible. This has nothing to do with short or long nails, the casing simply is too big.

About his modding: I would have liked a nail-file instead of two metal/wood-files but certainly will use them. I also would have liked a real (smaller) phillips screwdriver like in the Victorinox.
