Cheap First Aid Kits (UK)

Just a quick heads up for those in the UK...

I was in Wickes yesterday picking up some floor tiles (the wonder of DIY!) and saw that they had a load of small first aid kits on sale for £2.50. They're fairly basic (assorted plasters, bandages, gloves, wipes etc.) but with plenty of room for those little extras we all like to add.

They're about 20cm x 7cm, so a decent size for a backpack.

I might have to pick a couple up for spares 

I brought a few of the AA ones at 6quidish each for friends to leave in their cars (had to add better tweezers, scissors and anti septic cream)

what are first aid kits for again?

all you really need is pain killers if your a girl and superglue for the cuts so you can get on with the job....


i mean all you need is lots of cotton wool and....

Our local Poundland has similar fairly basic kits for a quid - well worth popping in to one if you can bear it for 5mins!

I popped in to Wickes today and picked a couple up 

Took a bit of time finding where they had hidden them, I had to send a 16year old to look for them
