Cheap First Aid Kits (UK)
on: September 08, 2010, 12:26:58 PM
Just a quick heads up for those in the UK...

I was in Wickes yesterday picking up some floor tiles (the wonder of DIY!) and saw that they had a load of small first aid kits on sale for £2.50. They're fairly basic (assorted plasters, bandages, gloves, wipes etc.) but with plenty of room for those little extras we all like to add.

They're about 20cm x 7cm, so a decent size for a backpack.

Thanks, Highway to Hull,

That looks handy for keeping in the car (with added stuff  :D )

Oops, didn't think of looking on the website, thought they were only an in-store special. I'll get to grips with this interweb thingy eventually...

I might have to pick a couple up for spares  ;)

I brought a few of the AA ones at 6quidish each for friends to leave in their cars (had to add better tweezers, scissors and anti septic cream)

I never leave home without a bandaid  ::)

Know thyself....

Our local Poundland has similar fairly basic kits for a quid - well worth popping in to one if you can bear it for 5mins!

Thanks Hull an back! (ignore the Highway to Hull crack I was listening to 'Planet Rock' at the time  :D )

I popped in to Wickes today and picked a couple up  :salute:

Took a bit of time finding where they had hidden them, I had to send a 16year old to look for them  ::)
