My first LED as well the Noma from Canada Tire.  Great light for outdoor walking and just keeping
in the vest pocket for times when needed.  I know I'll be buying more lights in the near future.  :)

Yes Sean, that is the one I have also. Unfortunately, I can't say it is my first LED. I was an early adopter, and do enjoy the lack of yellow in the beams. Just most of mine are weaker then the Sunfire L1 that I have. The Noma is a bit more powerful. I was shocked at how much light it throws. I just ordered a Fenix TK45, and I think I had better be sitting down when I turn it on to full power.
A little Leatherman information.

Chako,
yeah I'd say seat yourself first before you turn that one on from what I've been hearing.  :D  The Noma
though does have a very nice looking cone inside it though doesn't it?  It looks like an orange peel.  I
quite like it for a starter light.  I lit up the cabbage field next to my house with it quite nicely.  I was
quite surprised at how it throws the light.
