Midsomer Murders sounds interesting. Our local eclectic video store has them for rent, so maybe we'll check them out this weekend.
Speaking of newer TV, “”Wallander” with Kenneth Brannagh is pretty decent viewing.
We enjoy watching the newer series, Inspector Lewis… but it’s not as good as the old Morse episodes. The stories feel like they have too many shortcuts and the viewer is not given enough pieces to try solve the puzzle themselves.
We also have the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes episodes, and just finished watching “I Claudius” a few weeks ago. “I Claudius” is a classic.
And there is some Dr Who in our lineup (old and new ones).
