I had a friend in airforce and he told me (don't know if it's true, but sounds nice) that army pilots are subjected to ither taking a light medicaments, or taking a beer or two just to stay calm... Guess what do they choose...

good point. I had a customer ask me to make one and there was a good response to them so I went with it. I guess you could use them as a mini screwdriver if you had to.

Yeah, may be. It's just that, to me, survival doesn't mean having miniscrews to play with   

And I'm not sure the pick will help a lot if I lose my glasses' screws. Too big

Yea, would not consider titanium pick a survival tool. Its used to play a guitar. They can co-exist in the same website though.

I had a sheath maker make me some sheaths for the fire pistons which are great. You can slip them in an out very easily and they hold the fire pistons very secure. You can also add a mimi capsule to the lanyard to carry char cloth, extra orings, and anything else you can fit.

the picks are $30 and $5 for anodizing, $5 for sandblasting, or $7 for a combination of the two.  I don't have any in stock right now, but I do have the material to make a few within a few days if I needed to, just let me know and I caould have one done by next week.

How well does the heat anodising stand up to pocket and keychain based (ab)use?

I want about 6 items but have a powerful urge to eat in the next few weeks   I might just limit it to one or two items

the ano stands up pretty good, although it can be scratched. For best durability the stone wash finish is best.
