The practical upshot I got was that you'd better hope any EMTs that show up to your car accident are carrying Vics or Spydercos.

if you watch the video where they are breaking the windows, it sort of looks like he uses his elbow a lot to break the window where in the other tests, he really forces the tool to make the break out the glass.  I'm sure that it's the tool, but it just looks suspicious.   ???

That Mikov Rescue knife is awful compared to the Vic.  That odd line cutting tip (similar to the serrated blade on recent Leathermans) seems to be at a serious disadvantage here.  Bad for the seat belts and denim.

Even with the damage to the glass breaker (and I suspect it got glass in the retraction spring so it's still usable), the testers still named the Spyderco the best of the lot.  Not a big surprise, I guess.

Well, it's my first post here, so hello everybody.

I am very surprised, that our test has been published here, I would never expect such a popularity, thanks.
I'm aware of disadvantages of making the test only in Polish, but I hope, the pictures and films are speaking for themselves, mostly.
knyha translated quite well our comments, thank you. If there are any other questions, feel free to ask them, and I will try to answer ASAP.

There is a drawback, though. What if I had to tell somebody 'You look like a smurf in that picture', meaning an actual smurf, and he gets angry at me 'cause he thinks I'm calling him a smurf? :D
