Found, what seems to be, a great deal on one of these http://heinnie.com/product.asp?CAT_ID=102&P_ID=4947

Seems too good an offer to not get one, but is there a reason for them being so cheap?  Are they any good?

Admittedly, I clicked on this expecting some sort of Klingon thing.  I mean...Glorb.  The word itself sounds like you're cursing someone in an alien language.

To be slightly more helpful, here's the review page for the Glorb at REI.  It sounds like the general consensus is that it is serviceable but not very bright.
Half-ass done wholeheartedly!

Not bad...  It's worth it for the price, but there's much brighter stuff available.

This is my favorite.  Note the warm (actually neutral) LED.  It has the same tint as the MiNi 123 you've been carrying:

Decent lantern, I find build quiality a little weak, but many like it.  It does well when the emitter is upgraded to Cree or seoul.  Not bad to upgrade.  It's the same as Sylvania/Osram Golden Dragon lantern.

Unless this is the cheaper version that uses 5mm leds.  Then, I'd probably stay away...
