2 Seiko 6309's for trade
on: October 02, 2010, 04:20:53 PM
Ok, now that I have your attention here is the deal.  I sent both off to Zed to see if he could get them working again.  1 does not work due to water damage, all it needs though is a new movement that I'm sure Zed would be happy to put in for you.  The 2nd one works for the most part, but will get stuck at the 11:00 pm as the date tries to change over.  Zed said it worked fairly well if he wore it alot, it still sticks a little.  One has a SS bracelet and the other will come with a OD Zulu band.  I want to trade both for a watch that works.  Prefer an automatic but am open to others as well.  Ideally I would like to trade for a Seiko auto diver of some sort.

Willing to sell as well but not sure on a price, would like to get around 200 for the pair, but best offer will also work.

Edit: Will also throw in the BM 522 and Invicta auto if the trade is right.

yes it was a shame i couldnt get them running spot on, the water damage was due to someone fitting a new gasket over a old one so water got it, the case and dial and hands are spot on for a new NOS movement, the second 6309 sticks at date change over but i noticed when i wore it afre i did a service it seemed to run ok and was only after i didnt wear it for a thew days it got stuck, i still feel with plenty of action it would be ok, or possiblt future movement replacment, both of these watches other than there movement issue are in amazing condition abnd would make a great project for someone ,  :tu:

ok time to sweeten the pot a little more.

I am willing to trade: 2 Seiko 6309's, an Invicta Automatic, a Benchmade 522 (box and papers), a Spyderco Tenacious (has seen some use), a Leatherman supertool 300, and a Kershaw Blackout for

a Citizen Skyhawk, a Seiko 6309 that is in good working order (modded ones ok), or any other watch of similar value.

Both Seikos for 150.00 or a Sage II.  You'll have to put the metal band back on, but I will include everything that goes with it.  Its the non working one anyway.  The other is ready for a Zulu, and it comes with one as well.
