Came in today...........
The weather was kind of nasty today so I was fighting the overcast skies for some decent light to take some pics, so some of these might look a bit dark.
Ordered this from a Ebay dealer I've done quite a bit of business with in the past. He got a deal on a bunch of these and selling them for pretty cheap. A custom Buck 110 for only $89 with free shipping was one I couldn't pass up!
These were made for Ozark Cutlery and were limited to only 250 made.
While custom these are not over the top. Blade is brushed finish 420HC of standard 110 fare and sports a "up-arrow" tang stamp suffix denoting 2008 production. Mine is serial number #096 out of 250.
While most 110's come with brass bolsters and liners, on this one they are all mirror polished nickle/silver. And to finish it off this one is fitted with polished smooth Green Bone scales sans pins.
Fit and finish is near perfect on this thing. Blade opens and closes smooth as silk, blade locks up vault tight and is sans any lateral play, polishing throughout is flawless, blade grinds are even and blade edge is typical Buck sharp, and not a gap to be found anywhere......
It came packaged in a nice hardshell felt covered flip-open display box that is lined along with owners/warranty paperwork and signed CoA. The only fault I could find with this thing anywhere is in the serialization. The number etching here fades a bit at the bottom of the serial number. Overall not a bad piece at all for $89 and some change.
