Not particularly good value, considering the cost of the ITP A3.If it was cheaper and with the addition of a low mode, Fenix might have a winner.

Same brightness, longer runtime, slightly shorter for just a bit more money than the E01. And keep the colors. A little style never hurt.
Well, I've been doing some reading over at what my friend calls "The Nerdy Flashlight Forum." It turns out runtimes for the E05 are right around 3 hours. I guess it's aiming for a totally different segment the the E01. In related news, 4-7s is coming out with an E01 competitor. "It's going to be significantly smaller than the e01." I'm so excited.

As noted some people do not like the E01's tint. In real world use I hardly notice the tint. That being said, I have an E05 coming. The run-time is a trade-off of course. I don't use my lights for more than a minute at a time so, around 3 hours is alright by me. I will give you my impressions when I get it. In the meantime, The Bright Side website has a nice review on the E05.
tell work you need a new light
I'm currently rethinking my flashlite options a bit at the moment, and carrying one of those as a back up, to say an Infinity or other floody, close range light is making sense to me

Is that the idea?
The E05 with all flood should be a good light for many tasks. Much like the Infinity Ultra yet smaller for EDC use. If a light has a bright hot spot my eyes will focus on that giving me tunnel vision. Of course that bright hot spot has great throw.
