Fingernail file surface effect like the (multipurpose hook with file)

Hi, I was thinking i could add this effect to the surface of a backspring. Anyone else done somthing like that?

Not that I know of, but I could be wrong.  Do you have a plan as to how you might achieve the effect?
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Dremel /rototool(ish), I have got that type of effect on some aluminum reflectors for flashlights but was thinking the SS back spring would be tuff/hard

I’m  new to moding SAKs. Had my first attempt be a failure (bent a 2.5 mm pin, the throwing it against the wall did make it better). 2nd was a successful build of a scientist which I’m EDCing.

  • When in doubt, use a bigger hammer.
I guess it should work, as long as it's sides stay smooth.
And won't it get gummed up from fingernail material that will be filed off?

spork did it with a checkering file it looked good but the files are pricey i am allways looking for one at swap meets.

Me to.  Despite hunting through many rusty boxes at car boot sales I've yet to acquire any and like you say, they're pricey new :(
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.
