IMHO I would say that when it comes to getting cutting compound on to a strop a heat gun or hair drier is the way to go  ;)

Merit Badges Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Start a new thread and post a photo of the keychain for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. You have one of your pictures in the 2019 calendar or in top three of the calendar poll in any month of the given year. You have one of your pictures in the 2018 calendar or in top three of the calendar poll in any month of the given year. Yep I thought they were very good
I think I had picked up most of it from lots of different places,
It was nice to see it all in one place and I liked the big bits of wood he used
I wish I had seen these years ago  :cheers:

I also use mouse pad and sandpaper to sharpen my knives, and after I'm done with the sandpaper I just finish with a few strokes on leather strop with green compound.
Great videos, helped me a lot when I was learning the basics!
