So who here sports the chrome dome? (pics please)
on: November 02, 2010, 12:07:29 AM
So out with it, who here is a baldy and when did it happen?  I'm 25 and I got my bald spot about 3 years ago and it progressed slowly until this year, then it went almost totally bald along with the front of my hair.  I decided the shaved look was more my tastes than the crusty the clown look, so I have been shaving since about April.  I like it better than having hair, because it's much cooler in the summer and much easier to maintain because I already shave my face every day.
Here's me with my older cat Molly:

My employees are constantly jabbing me about the glare while I am assigning their roles for the day.  It gets old when you are in a meeting and everyone is snickering about your head.  I found out that one of my veteran guys told all of my new hires that they would have to wax my head if they messed up.

My hair is so long, I can't reach the ends of it.  My brother on the other hand is bald- my father calls us Lex and Chewie!  :D

Of course, my brother has such an odd looking head I kind of wish I'd been the bald one and he's had the option of hiding it!

That one was specially made- there are only two in existence, but we have tossed around the idea of more in the future if folks want them.  :D

All the males on both sides of the family are bald, so I was screwed from the day I was born

My hairline started receding when I was 16 and by the time I was 20 I was bald on top.

I shave my head now and then but usually just get a buzzcut. I keep my hair short so I don't have to deal with it and shaving it every day is just as time consuming as styling it. I do wish I would just go totally bald and be done with it.

I'm with ya.  I wonder if there is a procedure that kills all the hair follicles on your head?

Def, why do you always look stoned in pictures?

Oddly enough, not the first time I've been asked that!  I actually never partake of any illicit items- hell I don't even like taking prescription or over the counter drugs, and the only "medicine" I usually take are made by Jack Daniels, Alexander Keith or John Labatt!  I have tried my share of "freelance pharmaceuticals" in my day, but to be honest, I never cared for them or the feelings they brought on.  Naturally, as the curious sort, I like to experience new things, so I can't recall any occasions where I turned something down, but I don't go out of my way for anything.

In short, kids, don't use drugs.... twice.  :P

I think I officially started losing around 18 with a patch on top getting thin and it starting to recede and by mid 20's it was really noticeable.  Now, I just buzz it every week or two.
