I found a dirty SAK in my house..

So I was looking around and I found a dirty old SAK. YAY!

However, the condition is really bad. I mean REALLY BAD. Theres probably mould/rust or other gunk inside the tool )= Fortunately, the blade still has an okay, usable edge on it.
Do you guys have any tips on how to clean it?

All that  and Q-Tips and  maybe even a toothpick to get into the really tight spots.

I didn't say that they should do it for free. As much as I have heard about their service they will do it for free anyway, but I would send it in asking to send me an invoice for it in such a case and not expect them to to this on warranty.

I wouldn't have imagined cleaning was even part of what they would do - paying or not.  Could very well be wrong tho.

I read about it several times on the German messerforum. Never had to try it myself...
