Well, you're reading this on the new improved forum!

We have finally decided to take the plunge to upgrade the forum for numerous reasons, we hope you find the new setup faster and easier than ever to use.

Some things are missing:
Google Member Map (hopefully will return)
CountryFlags (I will endeavour to get this working asap, I know you all love it!)
Bookmarks (waiting on an update, but will be back!)
Chat (I'm afraid this is gone for good. Noone used it anyway)

There's a new video tag addon, you only have to post the link, no need to wrap it in BBcode, and AFIAK it supports about 150 different video sites!

More later! Now I need to get the template a little more MTO friendly!

The 'old style' BBcode is not working anymore, so all Youtube videos are gone ;)

I just noticed, the avatars look smaller. Is that just me or do they get less real estate?

Oh, and I would love to see google maps back--it's one of my favorite features.

(And just in case, I really like the new look overall).

Avatars are 125x125 AFAIK... nothing changed... maybe it's the layout playing with your head, it is quite different.

I 'occassionally' post on EDCF. Since EDCF got their 'upgrade' the smilies are smurf. Even when you click into additional smileys [and who can be bothered with that] they are really really random like these   ???

Alas I have some Realworldtm running around to do, and it seems in my haste to make the forum somewhat familiar I've also forgotten to eat... So I'll be back for more badgering later...  :ahhh

The one thing I noticed is since I have been getting older I have a hard time hitting those little numeral link buttons where there may be multiple pages in a post. I like the BIG "Previous" and "Next" page links.  Otherwise this does look nice. My hats off to you and whomever else is doing the hard work around here. :salute:  :tu:


I am referring to the links which change the page within the same post on the left bottom side, not the ones for next thread.
