Screwfix have these on sale at the moment at the counter and online
These are the double AA for 8.70

And I think they had AAA ones were about 6quid (but not online)

Not sure how popular these are anymore

Not very popular sadly, but a classic none the less

I upgraded the only ones I kept and they still serve a purpose
