White Handled Scientist
on: November 16, 2010, 11:44:13 PM
Here's my Scientist, or as I like to call it, the Lab Coat Scientist. I always thought the white handled Scientist was very fitting, and that's the one I searched for. This one is a two layer model, and it's also the smallest model to feature a magnifying glass as far as I know. The tools include- main blade, combo-tool, Phillips driver, magnifying glass, corkscrew and micro-screwdriver, toothpick, tweezers, ink pen, and straight pin.

Another one of my favorite discontinued SAKs :tool:

I have to agree white scales are nice. I have white scales on my homemade Scientist and it's sidekick Mini Champ.

Wow, that is very nice indeed.  I've got two red one's but didn't realize they made them
with different scales.

I bought the scales here. http://rotokid.sosakonline.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&root=9d929e79896773a1b8fcfd68d0941140&category_id=b7686 They are easy to install. The 91mm scales come standard or plus style. The plus style have an extra slot for a ballpoint pin.

The scientist is one of my favourite models.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Nice, Neil! Did you make the extra tweezers slot yourself?
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

I did.  If you're feeling adventurous you can then mod a set of tweezers and carry both options.  A bit overkill really though :)
