Rollypolly question

I have to carry a 16.5 cm h x 16 cm w x 5cm d case hanging from a sitka.
Is a standard rollypolly big enough? Maxped site talks about diameter, and the case is flat and tall. does Rollypolly allow a little deformation from the round shape?

Is there any other way to carry said item, other than IN the sitka?
