Nothing Says "I Love You" Like a SAK

... even when it's passed down...

Some times I buy a knife just for the box, but this time the seller didn't reveal everything about the condition of the box.  :)

Cute. :)  Now for the big question:  Will it blend?  What's in the box? :D

Nothing really exciting in the box, I'm going to use it in a bit of a reconditioning experiment.  I bought it for the box really because it appeared to be a bit unsure of itself.

What a cool piece of someone's history! Kinda like old photographs you find at a lot of the antique marts and such. A glimpse into a moment in time.
Let us therefore open the book of Nature and read in her records.

+1  I purchased some cookbooks secondhand, and in the inside cover of some of them were statements that indicated they were Christmas gifts, Father's Day gifts, et cetera.  Actually, as to have a couple SAKs, too, but that's another matter.  What I really enjoy, though, is my non-marked first edition of The Aliens with an inside signature indicating the book was printed in its first year, and a rough 1910 Latin biography on Julius Caesar with a lot of characterization. :tu:
