Does Victorinox make a 91mm SAK without a corkscrew?

Figured I'd ask the experts. I'm looking for a 91mm SAK that doesn't have the cutout for the corkscrew / philips driver. I've been searching for this for awhile now and haven't come across anything. It seems most of the SAKs I find that don't have the cutout are 3 1/4" instead of 3 1/2".

I'm looking for the 3 1/2" size because I want to make another custom SAK that has a bit driver. However, this time I wanted to leave the blade/corkscrew layer out entirely. I was thinking scissors/hook, bit driver, pliers.

Is there a SAK with 91mm scales that doesn't have the cutout for the corkscrew or would I have to resort to making my own handles? Not sure how good that would turn out so if anyone has recommendations for someone who can make custom handles I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Bodie

Can't say they never have made one, but they certainly have no 91 mm without corkscrew/Philips in their current lineup.

I had that same thought today, interestingly enough, and I couldn't find anything.  There are a couple ways to do a smooth back 84, and certain tools on the 91 are smooth back (scissors, saw on older models etc), but I don't know if it is possible with an 91.  Maybe some of the multi multi tools ones have a few possible smoothback springs?

Custom scales can be very keen too!

I dont enjoy that cutout either, but the only way to get a nice smooth back on a 91 is making custom scales.  I was thinking of doing some brass or Ti scales for a smooth back.
PM me or email sakmodder [at] gmail . com if you are looking for custom SAK work.

Nope that's 84mm and... QS? Qorkscrew? :D

Maybe you could use a "full" outer liner and another front scale at the back, the only thing is that the holes for the pins in the center won't line up correctly. But that can probably be fixed with glue or epoxy
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

That doesn't work either :(. Tried and failed there. Your best bet is old school solid sak scales. That way you can cut new holes and then epoxy them in place
Also if you use the outer liner you will have to "bend" it the opposite direction as they lean outward to aid in clearance when the scales are put on.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?
