Well he woke up today and looks good. Maybe I won't have to make a hurried trip to the hospital today. The people at the hospital were awesome. They took such good care of him. The only negative I can think of is the little chairs they have that fold out into beds weren't as comfortable as my bed but that's to be expected.  :D They weren't bad though. I've slept in much more uncomfortable places in my life.

My son will still have to receive IV antibiotics for a month. They gave him a PICC line(definition below) so they can be administered easily. Here in a few hours the Home Health people will be coming to get us started on that. He looks good this morning. The 1st thing he said when he woke up was he was hungry. That's my boy. LOL

Again, I'll try to get some pix up later. He's got a cool new scar to brag about. Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers.

Thoughts and prayers flying atcha DTH.  I'm a father myself, and I hurt for you after reading your story.  It sounds like you have a tough little chap under your wing though, and I know he'll be fine.  My sincerest apologies for not seeing this sooner.
