Pardon me for saying, but YUCK!  The scales are nice, but that blade is awful.

Not as ugly as the wound will be when the liner lock fails as someone uses that "wrench" blade wrongly  :o

Yes, well.  Lets just hope the scales are being used on more than one knife. :D

+1, hope the scales are used on actual production knives... with real blades. o.O

Another thing i don't get.. this seems to be overall made to be used in a workshop type environment.. would it not be more logical to include a metal file instead of the wood saw?

That's a good point.  :tu:  A diamond file would have been a much better choice.    :gimme:

I don't know about this one.
Like everyone else I like the idea and the scales are pretty cool but that blade is stupid and probably not even very useful.
They could have done better.  :P

Knowing Wenger they probably already have 10 different versions of knives with these scales. I like it! I love it! I want some more of it!  :tu:

On Swissbiancos facebook page are some more fotos. It seems there is also a 3-layer version with metalsaw/file, bottleopener and canopener. But unfortunately with the same blade...
I really hope they will make this version with a normal blade...

The liner-lock is overexposed IMO.

Ueli steck is some extremist swiss mountaineer or something.

I gotta admit that's just awful. I can tell by the way the arrows are situated that one is supposed to only rotate the knife counterclockwise around the bolt/nut when using the wrench, thus putting pressure on the blade stop and not the lock (and presumably clockwise to tighten, but by flipping the knife over). So if used *properly* it should be safe, but... properly is the key. ;)

Anyway, looks terrible. :(

i like it. i don't mind the blade even. but what i have ben thinking this week is wenger really should do a  One-hand blade for their 85mm line... this might be the knife to do it on  :D

I guess I'm the only one who likes it..... although I would have preferred a separate wrench layer altogether.

Def does too.

I don't know it has grown on me, I think the big thing is does the blade have to be open to use the wrench
