My next SAK... help me decide!

I found a couple of very nice knives that I really want to buy. Problem is, we really need a new kitchen and some other things (a new car, for example ), so I should really stop buying SAKs...

So, can you guys help me decide which one (maybe 2) of these I should get? I believe they are all rare or at least not very common...

- Natural horn scaled Champion (never seen one before)
- Horn scaled Huntsman (3711.62)
- Champion, mother of pearl (niiiiiice... but expensive)
- Part of Collection #2 (Ambassadors in Art Deco, Shoe, Rocket ship and Tiger)
- Horn scaled Director or Executive with keyring, no T&T
- Director (not really rare but it's discontinued)
- Gold Windsor (like the one here: http://www.inmentis.com/SwissBianco/SwissBianco_NL_2010_1.htm)
- Ambassador, mother of pearl
- Horn scaled Accountant with long nail file (http://sakwiki.com/tiki-browse_image.php?galleryId=33&sort_mode=name_desc&imageId=877), beautiful!

There seems to be an underlying theme of horn going, so I would jump on the natural horn scaled Champion. It's the only one listed you specifically said you had never seen before so for that reason I would go with it over all the others.

If you can swing two with the Champion being one of them I would go for the Ambassador in Art Deco. If you're trying to fill that collection it'll give you a big smile to know you're getting there.

That's just what I'd do. YMMV.

Seriously, as the previous poster said, horn seems to be a recurring theme on your list. Also, it also appears you have a specific collection series in mind. I would go with two knives. I would pick up one of the Ambassadors (rocket ship for me), and the horn scaled Executive.

My reasoning is thus:
You get two nice additions while still saving a few bucks.
You fill both your Ambassador collection and your taste for horn with these two.
73mm knives in general are not as commonly seen as the others so always a worthwhile addition.

If I was picking one for me, I would take the horn Huntsman, but you asked what you should pick.

Last bit of advice: Make a list of the pros/cons of each selection. Take your time and try to do an objective analysis. After you have completed it, crumple it up, trash it, and go with your heart. Don't skip making the list. The process is important. It helps you figure out what is important. Sometimes the head rules, sometimes the heart.

In the (recent) past, I just bought anything I liked. I really had no idea where I was going with my collection. I still haven't decided what I really want to focus on. I do know however that I am a big fan of 74mm SAKs and that I am interested in non-standard scales. But all knives in the list have special scales

And I really like the long nail file, so I may go for the 75mm Accountant...

Besides that, the Champions are just too expensive for me at the moment

You've got some hard choices there.  I just picted up a used Horn scaled hunstman off ebay. Needs a little cleaning an a little better care in general in the future, but I think it will be great as all the tools after a little work will be top notch.

A couple weeks ago picked up the sister to the accountant you showed (no T&T on this one), very happy about that so the family can be together.

I don't think I have a horn scaled Champion, other than Stag, so that sounds interesting to me.

Horn scaled executive is a VERY nice EDC, and those other 74mm from Collection 2 are beauties.

go for the champion with natural horn! as others have said, there seems to be an underlying trend to buy something with horn. so why not do it? it won't be the last SAK you buy after all!
