2009 Special Micra (It's a bit different)

I never set out to nab a 2009 Stars & Stripes Micra BUT I am a sucker for combined postage  ::) ::) :D.
$10 latter I had a almost new Stars & Stripes 2009 Micra  8) 8) , + 1 or 2 other items  ::) ::) :D :D.


Quite the handsome devil & the only difference I could see is the handle faces are bare no Leatherman etching/engraving , smooth.



On the flip side the 2009 Special is a bit ......... special  :think: :D. It has no handle cut out for the tweezers  :o :D :D. I suspect LM opted to not have the cut out for aesthetic reasons  :think: :think:.Tweezers access is minimally effected , hardly in fact .

Now should I send it back too LM as it is NOT a 2009 Micra its a 2008  :o :o :o :o :o :D :D :D.

11/08 I guess its close too 2009  :D.

Mat just went and looked at mine and its 0908  both handles. Now you`ve done it. Leatherman will be flooded with emails questions on how this could happen. 08 handles on a 2009 special edition.    :think:     :D    :D

Wow, so they stamped out a special aluminum cover just for this model eh? That's pretty special. :)
