I'm trying to decide between a juice xe6 or a charge tti. I like the looks of the juice having a charge would be nice also.which would you choose?

I've had very bad experience (quality wise) wih a Juice, and have heard several others with gripes about build quality and functionality.  I've heard far less complaints (if any) about the Charge series

Depends on what you intend to do with it. The Juice is more convenient for EDC if you pocket carry but I think that's the only advantage. I have both and the only time I carry a Juice Pro is when I'm wearing a suit and for some reason don't have a carry bag of some sort. (church)

Both of my tools are well built and there are no issues from that perspective but the Charge is a much heavier duty tool and therefore has more uses overall IMHO. Also, the weight difference isn't that great, the Charge tools lock and the Charge has a bit holder for more options.

Just think of the Juice EX-6 as a smaller lighter duty Charge - more in line with a Swisschamp. If size isn't a factor and you can only purchase one I suggest the Charge.

The one thing the XE6 has over the Charge is a proper 3D Philips head  :tu: Not to mention those Thunder Purple scales :D

If you were in the UK or similiar restricted knife law country then you would have a decision to make given the XE6 is non locking and the Charge is locking.
As you're in the US I too would go for the Charge TTi  :tu:

If you don't like it you could trade for an XE6, you may struggle the other way around  ;) :D

The Juice line and Charge line are very different tools.  I can say that I personally would choose and have chosen the Charge, but with a choice of two tools as disparate as those two I would suggest trying to get your hands physically on each.

The only compelling reason to go with the Juice over the Charge for moderate users is that the Juice will be more suitable for in pocket carry than the Charge.

When in doubt - get both.

My xe6 is a great tool and I carried it as my only multi for a year. I switched it for a full size tool eventually

To be honest - juice is quite small and not that useful as Charge. I didn't have juice but I do have charge and I think it's the best multitool for both EDC, DIY, hiking, biking, doing computer stuff. It's very strong and yet not that heavy as Surge (which is also awesome but not for EDC purposes but for real some heavy duty work!)

I would strongly recommend the Charge TTi + bit kit + bit extender.

Juice can be used as a secondary. Although now it seems I would prefer Wingman over Juice!

I have both the Juice XE6 and Charge TTi. The Juice is what I EDC. It's lighter, and has more tools. I have yet to run into a situation where I needed the Charge over the Juice. That being said, the Charge stays in my car, just in case.

I just bought a Cs4 for myself and a Charge for my father, having also a Surge. If it's your first LM, Charge yourself!

You'll know why LM's are known for. The juice series are small, good quality. The Charge is a real tool.

But, the real deal for me is still the Surge!!! >:D

Is big, bulky, heavy - whatever you wanna call it. I call it massive! You'll never be like this with a surge>> ??? :o :-[

the xe6 is smaller and has "cooler" scales. (IMO)

it just depends of what your after.

Good call on going with the Charge. The ChALX is my edc tool, though I have not carried it since Sunday on account of being in bed with a cold.
The only thing that the Xe6 has over the TTi is the corkscrew, so unless you need that the TTi is a more versatile tool. However the Juice is a bit more pocket friendly and would be a good after hours tool. :drink:

All that being said, this is MT.O so:

just get both. :multi:
