OHO SAK blade?
on: April 14, 2012, 11:39:50 PM
Quick question; will any OHO blade fit into a 111 mm frame with a slide lock?

In other words, could a OHO blade be put into an Outrider?

 That is a very good question in which I dont know the answer. Never done any mods with the 111mms. But I am sure someone will help you soon.

Let me change my answer, A strait swap I dont then you can. You will probably have to re profile the tang because it is taller. if that makes sense. Also the stiffer spring would be smurfing hard as hell to open it one handed.

Okay, so to switch this around, would the standard tools from a 111 mm model, like an Outrider, fit into a OHT or Soldier frame?  I see the difference in pin size, so I guess that means the tools from an Outrider would have to be drilled out for the larger pin size, but other than that, is there any difference in the openers, scissors, etc. that come on a knife like the Outrider that would prohibit them from being transplanted into an OHT?
