Southern Hunters sucess
on: March 16, 2011, 01:43:57 AM
One of my other hobbies/interests is airgun shooting(Those of you in the States/Europe/well anywhere really can laugh if you want).

I'm a member of a local club and take part in 10meter pistol matchs,as well as the Hunter Field Target disapline.Back in January I took part in my first external competition,in one of the rounds of the Southern Hunters Championship, and finished stone last

On Sunday I was back at it again for the last round at Lea Valley, and while I didnt win,me and Baby B

my BSA Superstar, came back with a bronze badge

In itself it doesnt mean much, just that I came within 20 points of the winner, but 1)I wasnt last!2)I enjoyed myself 3)I improved masively over the Ford round, and 40I was twelve points behind the winner.

Oh yeh,and from a MTO point of veiw,I took my LM Wave(in case I needed the bit driver) and my Vic Astronautas a back up.

There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Seems like a neat little sport... but why in the world would you actually EDC an Astronaut?  :ahhh  :twak:  :D

Good job getting the bronze, though, and for being so close to topping the guy in first.  Your air rifle does look rather neat; my BB/pellet rifle only has iron sights, and has a plastic stock - I can't imagine how much fun yours would be to shoot. :)

[Edit:  They make LEGO characters that can have 3D bags now?  When I was a kid, we just had orange, transparent chainsaws. :( :D]

Congratulations Kirk :salute:

What do you use for 10m pistol? I've recently bought a Feinwerkbau 80, (wanted one since I read about them in a library book around 1983  :D), it seems really accurate, shame the same can't be said about me ::)

Congrats on the good shooting. It's been a while since I've shot in a match, but I always enjoyed it.
