Okay, got a CrossCut today on a whim.  F+F are okay, not spectacular, but certainly not bad, interesting tool loadout.

However, the scissors suck mightily.  How are you supposed to make more than one cut with these things?  The pivot is huge and constantly gets in the way.

I bought a Cross Cut on a slightly drunken whim(dont ask),and have to say theyre not a patch on my CrossGrip. The compound gearing is no where near as smooth, and the scissoers are not the smoothest.Have to say I'm not over impressed!

For long cuts, like across a whole sheet of cardstock or heavy paper, the thin Micra pivot really shines compared to the fat CrossCut pivot :salute:

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

That's a very helpful pic Bob, I wouldn't have even considered it as a potential problem. :)
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Well, after a couple weeks with the Crosscut on my keychain, I have found a really good use for it - it makes a great pair of gardening shears due to the compound leveraging gears.

The bad?  The sucker had a nasty habit of opening in my pocket.  :o

Might have to alter that opion a little.Been playing with paracord a bit,and I've found the little SOG is by far and away the best thing for cutting it.
