A great story
on: March 28, 2011, 03:30:22 AM
About three years ago I gave our youth pastor a Vic Explorer.  Every since that day he has carried it and used it, he even admitted that since he has gotten it he has found more things to fix and take apart. (sounds familiar :pok:)

Just this week he was on a missions trip in Venezuela, while doing some handyman work at the church he saw a gentleman trying to pry open a paint can.

Taking out his trusty Explorer he opened the can and showed the gentleman all the features.Closing the blades up he handed it to him and thought to myself this is what Aaron would do.

His thought was a handyman at a church NEEDS a Swiss Army Knife.

When he told me the story I was sooo proud of him (grasshopper has learned important SAK lesson) :tu:

Actually I tried to give him a Swiss Champion (Champ w/o pliers) about a year ago when I took his Explorer in for a little TLC (maintenance).

But he said it was too much for the pocket so he suffered a few days while I "fixed" it. (trust me I hurried).

I believe he found his "holy grail" when it comes to SAKs (lucky isn't he). I turned him on to Felinevet (Tim) but then I remembered I have a 50% off at Swiss Army so I am thinking about letting him use that.

Unless someone has an free Explorer laying around that wants to be donated and get in on this Karma train? :pok: :D ::)
