may i have some sympathy please?
on: March 25, 2011, 02:26:15 PM
Now that I have your attention you make think the situation is horrible but it isn't. So maybe I shouldn't be so sad.
I completed my buck collection with the harely model from Dennis and a 360 tool clip from ebay. The tool clip arrived on the 23rd after three weeks of international shipping but when I opened the box it contained a pst II :( the seller is trying to locate the tool clip from the buyer of the pst. He seems very up and up but I think I lost out. Last problem, what do I do with the pst? I want a refund if I can't get the 360 but I don't want to pay for international shipping to send back the pst...

Well that sucks mate  >:( >:( >:(.

Hopefully the dude that bought the PST but who got the Buck lives in the US , a bit of a long shot I know, but if that was the case you could send him the PST & he could send the Buck to you & postage would be cheap  .

Otherwise I would be gunning for at least a partial exchange on the purchase & keep the PST  .
That seller is a bit of a goose  :( :( :(

See if the seller is willing to cover the expenses to ship the PST back to him.  After all, this was his mistake and you shouldn't have to pay extra for his mistake.  If not, keep the PST and settle for a partial refund or exchange as Mat said.  You can then use the PST II for some future MT.O trades.  :tu:

I think you're owed a bit of sympathy over that one mate.  I know I'd be annoyed, to say the least. :-\

Ouch. :( Those 360CL models don't come along every day. :-\ Hopefully the other buyer is willing to send it back.

Well, ebay gave the seller the shaft. He replied 12 days ago that he would look into it but I never recieved a response. Since I started all of this in the resolution center Ebay issued a refund and now I get the PST II (rusty and bent scissors) plus my refund. not bad I guess. I am pretty sure ebay gets the money from the seller so they are out nothing.

Well I'm sure you would have actually preferred to get the pocket clip Buck, but all things considered, at least you aren't out anything :)
