Is there any way to make SOG scissors work well?

It looks like most of us agree that the scissors on SOG's larger tools are not very effective. Has anyone figured out any tweaks, mods, or outright replacements, that fix the problem? It seems to me that there should be some way to adjust or sharpen them so they would actually do the job, but I haven't had any luck so far.

Does anyone have suggestions?

On the subject of replacements. Get a SAK.

I have around 60 of them, but none of them have pliers like a SOG. If the scissors on my PowerLock were adequate I could go back to carrying it as my primary tool.

You can sacrifice 4 slots and put in a Micra..., jsut kidding, in reality, I carry a Wenger Executive for that purpose.

Now you have me thinking about what it would take to mount the scissors from my Gerber Legend in my PowerLock...

Nope, doesn't look like it would work. {sigh}
