Victorinox SportRatchet
on: November 15, 2007, 06:51:59 PM
Its here  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

What a beast  :o I must say I'm really pleased with it . I can see its problems and I wouldnt EDC it , not when theres a swisstool about anyway . Its huge and hasnt that many tools but from a collectors point of view its awsome  :D Great Victorinox quality and very clever how it all works and goes together .Ive got to go out tonight ( training and then the pub  ;) ) but lots of pics and stuff to come over the next few days in this thread .
In the mean time if anyone has pics and info they would like to post feel free  :D

YES ! I just got my sportratchet TODAY !

And it is VERY NICE but would be hard to EDC because the size and not enough tools in it.

But if you like VICTORINOX , it's a MUST HAVE TOOL
No pic's ....Dundc Did a very good job....

Congrats to both of you for snagging a rare beastie
I had two Sport Ratchets a couple years ago...both had China stamped on the ratcheting mechanism...how about either of you? Any markings?

No there isnt any China Markings on mine . Made me smile when I read in the user guide that they only guarantee the ratchet for one year while the rest of the tool ( swiss made ) is a lifetime . Half of me wants to undo the screws on the ratchet to see inside but I really should leave it alone as I dont want to run the risk of marking it .Another thing to note is the sheath that came with it , its like no other Vic sheath I've ever seen and has no belt loop  ??? Thats about as much use as a chocolate tea pot  :D

The Golf Tool is currently in production.  I don't know if it was part of the same series or not, but it makes sense.

On the Golf Tool?  I don't have a sheath for it.  I don't have a sheath for my Sport Ratchet either.
