Yay!!! Sea Monkeys!!! They live.

A couple of weeks ago my son bought some Sea Monkeys with his Birthday money. Well nothing happened for several days and I was just about to throw the whole thing away but I looked in there today and we have Sea Monkeys!!! Or rather A Sea Monkey....as in singular. But hey, I'm excited nonetheless. Now if he'd hurry up and build those underwater castles they used to have in the advertisements.

They are supposed to play games, do tricks and so on. You can also buy toys etc. for them …. Apparently, from what I remember, you have to aerate their water often.

I never managed to get them to do anything even vaguely interesting.

My daughter had some for a while... I think about 4 of them in the beginning.  Then she let the tank sit for almost two months with no food and didn't clean it.  To my surprise, when I went to dump it there was still one swimming around... I didn't have it in me to kill him, so I let it sit till he died

UPDATE (Because I know you all care about my Sea Monkeys) 

The one Sea Monkey that hatched several days ago is big. In relative terms of course.  But the exciting news is that there are now several Sea Monkeys. I was looking at the little aquarium last night and I saw at least 3 or 4 more tiny ones swimming around. Big fun at the DTH residence.

they go on and on mate, my oldest has had hers for about 2 years , we feed them now and then and just when you think ther is only 1 ,1 becomes 4 , 4 becomes 10      cool little creatures, i remember the ads at the back of the marvel comics when i was a kid,  although they dont look like the cartoon pic
