Cost is the only reason they'll move to other packaging, just like the others that have moved to paper free billing, foreign call centres and .... wait a minute .... swapped from round bottles to square to save plastic? A square bottle uses more doesn't it? Denser packed items DOES mean cheaper shipping to stores, less warehouse space, more items on shelf, blah blah blah ... don't you just hate it when firms dish out such twaddle when their only motivation is their own margins.
Save five pence per item and knock three pence off for the consumer - great - but don't try and tell us you're saving the planet
