But Dunc wasn't even there this year

Which did at least mean we didn't have to fear the wrath of "save the whales" greenpeace or for that matter the local water board :)  ... its long story involving grass skirts, low frequency emissions and a toxic spill ::)

Ahh, yes the throwing axes ....

You may have noticed that Hedgekid hasn't posted any coments since our return, although we understand the reattached limbs are starting to knit back together. I'm sure that once the healing process is complete THEN I will be receiving MY injuries. :dwts:

As for the competition results:
1st Place (with full marks) - Gareth
2nd Place - Neil
Joint 2nd Place - MEEEEE  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Gareth got the torch and I got the knife (many thanks Millhouse :tu: ), Neil got the Leatherman adapter kit donated by Farmman  :salute:

I'll get pics up very soon. I didn't get many unfortunately as my camera was acting up  :twak:

It should be pointed out that all the scores were excellent and very close. :salute:  Comp ran with Hedge Kid (not taking part in the guessing but top marks for organising things ) picking out 12 tools that we couldn't see, one at a time we were blindfolded and taken to the table and allowed to fondle each tool, one point for maker and one point for model, so a potential score of 24 points.

The fact I won only proves that I'm just a little more geeky than everyone else there. ;)
