I prefer the red licorice.Bassets Maynards Allsorts is my downfall though.
+1 on the chocolate bullets. I also like black and red licorice. @ Multimat, I know coles sells red licorice, in the brown paper bag style packaging. Have you tried that one?

My Uncle has spent his entire working life making Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts . I like the traditional stuff (Bertie Bassett stuff), but not so keen on the red /fruity version (Betty Bassett stuff). As for chewing the root - tried it once as a kid .... never again!!! Yeah , a vaguely liquorice flavoured highly fibrous twig - no wonder they're so popular
