You'll love the Manix 2, I do  :tu: (even thought I have very little use for a single blade  :dunno: )

GID you say..... :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

I don’t know why I keep buying large locking knives as all but one live in my storage cupboard.

I keep one a tenacious in a draw in the kitchen to stop me using my kitchen knives for stuff I Know I should not do.

My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

I have a few folding knives about my home too.  They do exactly as you mention "stop me using my kitchen knives for stuff I Know I should not do".

I like keeping certain knives in areas I know I'll eventually require a knife.  Garage, shed, kitchen, coffee table, etc.  You can carry them around the home which is also a good thing.  Just yesterday I was installing a window AC in my home and needed to cut a length of insulation.  My trad was on me however I was also holding the unit with one hand and securing the insulation with the other.  I could let go of the insulation but not the AC unit.  A OHO knife would have been perfect in that moment.

I called for help  :D.  My partner grabbed the knife on the coffee table and made the cut.

She's not so adept at speaking ALOHA  :dunno:

The other day I asked her to remind me ( BLANK ), she says ok.  As the day ends I recall what I was supposed to be reminded of and that I asked her to remind me.  When I asked her why she hadn't reminded me she of course also forgot .  I say, "Aren't we a pair", she just laughed and says well need to put up post it notes all over.

I'm just afraid we'll get to a point of..........

Well, HP seems to have really jacked up the price on their ink. Almost $100 for four (three black, one color; which is two combo packs) HP61 cartridges. And, the Deskjet 1510 I've had for about five years now was a POS when I got it, and it's always jammed, smeared, or otherwise goofed. It prints dozens of alignment pages, and then you have to scan that. That wastes ink. It's cheaply made; print quality is barely passable, and it's halfway falling apart. Given it cost only $30 5 years ago, I didn't expect much.  This is quite the upgrade. It is a wireless printer, the HP was not (I used to be able to "cloud print" through Google Print, but about a year ago, Google axed that). This one works exactly like a commercial office printer--load paper in bottom; and it feeds documents for scanning/printing. The old HP is a flatbed scanner.  That, has both pros and cons. I can more easily scan documents and paperwork I need to email to someone, it's much faster. But, it also means I can't scan old documents, like catalogs and old ads (which I often do to share on here, and other places), for example. May keep the old HP around just for use as a flatbed scanner. After all, that part always works great.

For $150 including size "XL" black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges, I went with an Epson; the Workforce PRO WF-3820.

A WWP Fieldmaster courtesy of Barry Rowland  :hatsoff: (who declined shipping costs, such is his generosity  )

However, apart from being a Fieldmaster, I have no idea what it looks like, two different scale patterns :dunno:

I don't care TBH, I don't have many cellidor SAKs and, as an ex squaddie, a WWP one is a fine addition  :salute:
Now the waiting game (shipping + Customs to the UK) begins

The WWP Fieldmaster is a nice one.

Another Wave+.  I couldn’t resist after seeing pictures of Monrogue’s Stars and Stripes Wave and realizing how nicely it would go with my ZT0562ti.

You're welcome GF  :hatsoff:

The plus scales come with all of the tools (bar mini driver) as well! That's actually a pretty good deal, now I find myself eyeing the sunshine yellow, British Racing Green, the white and oh oh maybe I could make the Blue Sapphire ones GitD, but I currently only have two cellidor 91mms.... So a good reason to finally pick up that Compact I've been wanting...

Oh and they do 58mm scales too

My only questions are when are you going to start paying me for what you've done and how do the white scales do over time with dirt etc.  :dunno:

A couple of eBay lots from the same seller. They, oddly, ended up in separate parcels looking at the tracking. I think the poor-quality photos may have really helped me in terms of the prices.

Victorinox Dual Pro X. I've long been wanting a knife with dual PE and SE OHO blades, and some other stuff. I like my Spyderco Byrd Wings Slip It; but it's a little small and heavy for its size. Blades don't lock either. Dual Pro fit the bill, as well as giving me all three drivers from the Trekker. May mod it to add a wood saw. $17.

Assorted lot for $30. Quite a few things I wanted, with little junk I didn't (only the China-made SAK clone, Ohio Forge MT, and Gerber AR 3.0). I mostly bought it for the large number of somewhat pricey traditionals in it. Most will need rehandling. There's a Multitasker AR maintenance tool with broken pliers (hoping I can get it fixed), a Case Sodbuster (moderate blade wear),  an older Opinel (like new, #6?), a Russell Barlow (broken mark-side scale), a Queen Peanut (broken scales and pen blade), a USN Utility Knife (chipped bone), Imperial shell-handles (Toothpick, Barlow, Jack), a pair of Bassett keychain knives, a bone-handled Stockman (unknown, but seller says there is a Boker in the lot), unknown, rather old looking Jack (I have a Boker that does look like this, so it could be the Boker. Unsure if the thing on a beaded chain (which is included) is a sharpening stone or a magnesium fire starter.  Either way, I can use it.

OMG, the classic are ok, the sweet heat are kinda bitter but with no heat, yet the ghost, you don’t eat straight, they'll knock you right off your rocker! So the sweet and ghost kinda counterbalance each other while adding flavor to the originals making it the best seeds I’ve ever had!
Best thing is if you order 5 you get 15% off, and my combo is 2 original, 1 sweet, 1 ghost, so by ordering one extra bag I get the 15% so I only pay like $1 for an extra bag, thus why I had to only order 2 bags this time since I had two extra,,

Just ordered a Case Sod Buster and a Trestle Pine Grand Portage. Very excited for the latter it’s  the loose foot placement that could very well send me down the rabbit hole of traditionals!

I had two bits on the way, 1/4" to 4mm socket bits, that I paid double the cost for ePacket.
I check it, and it says delivered. I check the mailbox, nothing.  :(
I open a dispute, and since the "tracking" said delivered, the dispute was instantly resolved as "no refund".
