I’ve not heard of Felo before but that flex ratchet looks nice.

That little hammer looks interesting.  The needing a small hammer is why I really like the Hammer Jammer heads for the Skeletool and one of the reasons I really like the Signal.
\
I wanted to try some Wera stuff, but it was a little out of my budget. And the Felo was both a flex and a ratcheting screwdriver. I've had some super-cheap ones before, and wanted to try something from a nicer brand. \

I've been meaning to get the Hammer Jammer to put on my Skeletool for quite some time. Signal is a good tool for my use, but a smidge too heavy. MUT too tactical. I'm going to try the "Rescue" version, which has a place to allow fitting of the MUT's strap cutter blade. Besides, I have the bit selection of the Skeletool RX (window punch, Phillips/flat double end)in a plain Skeletool.

The same maker of the Hammer Jammer made two hammer versions that use the rescue blade from the MUT

Thanks!  I have a regular Griptillian but I really prefer smaller knives anymore. Now I just need to decide on a Signal. So many great choices.

I broke down and ordered some Surge goodies to dress mine up. Also waiting on my 300m which should be here this weekend.

Oh, and I found a part to fix an old Gerber that had a broken cap lifter

Pics to come when all arrives.

It is a lovely looking thing, isn't it

I didn't bite the bullet/knife as I don't very often use the other one I have, whatever it's called  (it's red  )

It is, Heinnie got to me through my own inboxx, stupid newsletter

Ahh you have the Heinnie edition of it, I'm planning on moving the scales back and forth from that one to my Tech Tool 4 Urban (basically a four layer SAK)  :tu:

I do indeed have HH version (why couldn't it be OHO  :dunno: ) The Tech Tool 4 Urban you're waiting for is it;

Neither, why on earth is a saw urban?

It's basically the first one but no saw and a phillips instead of a corkscrew (though mine is the CF version). I picked it up ffrom Heinnie back in 2018 I think.

Though you have reminded me that I want to pick up a mini tech tool with the driver/opener, I love the zebrawood one on my keys atm but would like that tool instead of the scissors.

They're not OHO for legal reasons in Germany I think? But on the one layer knives I think you could probably fit one of those screw on thumbstuds that people tend to put on the Buck 110  :tu:

I’ve been considering the Tech Tool 3 or Ruike M31.  I would like to know your opinion of the TT4.

4 old Climbers. NTSA lot at a good price. :woohoo:

Screwed pivot, no hook, thicker tang blade, grooved CS, etc. Still thinking what to do with them, maybe some Yeoman builds or build then out to a 5-layer Modeler or Motorist. Or maybe a custom layout. Got some time to think as it will takes weeks for the post to get to me (fingers-crossed it does, as our post office conveniently misplacing a high percentage of parcels).

I’ve been considering the Tech Tool 3 or Ruike M31.  I would like to know your opinion of the TT4.

Overall it's a good tool and I like it:

-The blade I find superior to SAKs personally

-The scissors are passable but they get the job done

-Pliers are pretty good for their limited form factor

-Opener is a great pry tool and opens bottles well

-I like the strap cutter personally, banding and straps can be harsh if not down right dangerous with a knife sometimes, the flat head end on it is a nice driver

-The phillips is a backside phillips, I prefer a CS but eh

-The awl, I think this is where MTO has been sleeping on it to be honest, the awl is the only one I've seen with the same gentle hooked tip and wicked sharpness to it that the 93mm in line awls have. It blows Vic backside awls out of the water.

The only thing that really annoys me is the lanyard point, but that folds mostly out of the way and having a pocket clip is fantastic.

Oh if you can remove the window breaker do it, you learn to live with it, but I'd rather it not be there  :dunno:

It was on its way but it’s here! It got dropped off today,, I had two before but one of them had arms, unfortunately this one doesn’t but I don’t need them, it’s in great shape just needs a cleaning, but it will go with that desk I bought when I fix that also up..

For any MT that has inwards facing blades (a step worse than just nail nicks) I tend to carry a primary blade or at least a SAK that's quicker to deploy. The UKPK is great for that, even if the clip is seemingly made of glass  :ahhh

What do you mean not me, Surgey are we falling out? Do I get your tools and a maintenance payment in the divorce?!

It was good whilst it lasted, please use plenty of bubble wrap for the transport and bank transfers for the payments

It's on the list, I don't regret getting that shiny copper Boker first. Though immediately doing the Pocket Rocket challenge wasn't the smartest move

At least I have an Ambassador and Executive now...

Ok, well or house sign finally came in, all’s good, only thing is we were talking about having the house painted sooo, :dunno: do we even hang it if the house gets painted cause it’s going to have to come down, but here it is.. to me the size is a little off, but due to our “town’s code” the numbers have to be 4” tall, or you will be fined! Needless to say, there 4.6”! So they can kiss my
