Is the spyderco sharpmaker the best way to go for putting an edge on charge serrated blades or any serrated blade for that matter?there are so many to choose from at heinnie haynes i just dont know.i've never actually sharpened a serrated blade before so i'll need a fool proof one aswell.thankyou for any and all advice given.

                                 cheers,
                                      gav.

The Sharpmaker is the easiest way I've found to sharpen a serrated blade.

I use a tiny round diamond file, it's definitely slow but I just putter at it for a while, as far as I know you only file the beveled side and leave the flat alone

I use the small edge of my FlipStik JewelStik.  Works great every time.

I use a sharpmaker but due to the angle of some blades you may have to put something under one end of the sharpmaker to raise it up . Remember to use a maker pen to coat the edge with so you can see where the stone is touching the blade .
