Magnetize your drivers

If you use the drivers on your multitool alot you should trying to magnetize them for easier use removing and placing screws.

Just take a strong magnet and rub it on the tip of the screwdriver that you want to magnetize.  It will stay magnetized for a long time. I think it's very useful.

Just make sure you use that one when fixing my Mother In Law's computer....

I stay away from magnetized bits for the most part because of computer equipment.  I never know when I'll be called in to do some work on someone else's machine, or even my own.

Which is too bad because I think magnetizing them is an excellent idea, and I miss the good old days when all your screwdrivers could be safely magnetized.

I always thougt about that when I was building PCs as a hobby. But in most screw driver and tool sets made specificaly for computer use, the drivers are in fact magnatized. Not heavily though, just enough to hold those little screws on the tip.
