I bought one of these from this seller, and I have bought a TTi from the seller before.
The one I got this time, while in good shape, was terribly adjusted. The file would not open without considerable force and much grinding noises. The can opener and bit driver would not open at all, period.
While disassembling it to tune it up I discovered that one of the 2 tool end pivot screws was the old Wave Style 5 point T-10 security Torx. I'm glad I had a 5 point torx driver for it. The other 3 pivot screws were 6 point. The pivot end of the file looked like it had been buffed out to make it open and close more smoothly.
After lubricationg and reassembling the TTi it was all set and everything opened and closed perfectly.
The TTi I bought new from them a year or so ago was perfect and nicely priced. I am just letting you guys know potentially what to expect. This could be a fluke and was still worth the money, but the 5 point Torx on a TTi with 2010 and 2011 date codes is just annoying. I really wish I had a spare.
I still left good feedback, and sent a message to the seller about the condition. This is just an FYI.
Update: After closer inspection the S30V blade shows use, has nicks on the blade edge, and has been resharpened. These are all minor to me as I intend to use it but the auction description says "THIS ITEM IS USED BUT IN EXCELLENT CONDITIONS MAIN BLADE HAS NEVER BEEN USED "
I think the problem may be that the seller is using one description for 5 different tools, and the seller uses the same description for another auction.
The seller clearly stated the item was used and I was not expecting a new item, but if I wasn't a multi-tool collector and a Charge speSmurfpillst I would be upset, this tool would not have been fully useable as received. Again FYI to potential buyers. Anyone else get one from this auction?
