This credit card size diamond sharpener can be carried in the bill fold for accessability at all times. For touching up the blade in the field and for putting a nice edge on your knives, the diamond sharpener will sharpen most all materials. I have carried one for years and use it to touch up my knives. I have yet to wear one out. The grit is fine (600) and is reccommended that you sharpen your kitchen knives first to break it in.
