Original plan is to stay away from the smartphone, but like title said, I'm a sucker for cool stuff. 

Samsung galaxy s2, this thing is sweet! I've been playing it for the past two days, replaces so many things in life, watch, compass, notepad, fm radio, and a whole bunch more. I'm still amazed how they've fit a dual core 1ghz processor, 8 megapixel camera, a big battery, and all that stuff in somthing that's 7 mm thick.

Already installed a whole bunch of stuff, include that damn angry bird and gun bros.  Anyone has any suggestions to some other good free apps?

Hey, that's my phone!

I have some issues with it though. The browser shows this stupid gray/white tiled pattern when scrolling which is very annoying (scrolling was way smoother on my less powerful HTC Desire). Also, the browser randomly crashes, often when visiting wikipedia.org

Other than that it's a very nice smartphone. I still can't believe how thin it is

 Turn off notifications in the stock messaging app and download handcent sms. It's a much better texting app than what comes with samsung phones. I can't be without it's quick reply box.

Already have that SAK app lol.

So far I like it, except the battery life, it stinks! I just used it to make a few calls, check a few webpages and maps, and it's in the red by end of day, not even 12 hours. If I throw in some games it'll probably die in half a day. 

I'm ordering a spare battery, no choice really.
