I got the impression the he recently retired from active duty or reserves - whatever it was.  He's about the right age to have all of his years in.

I must be the only one who still like's his reviews.  Yeah, he has an intense personality, sort of warrior-nerd, but thats part of what I find interesting.  Sure beats all of the other reviewers who put me to sleep with their long pauses, silence, poor audio and so forth.

I still like his reviews on knives and guns but hate his run and gun videos. I only watch his review videos.

 Hey, it was actually nut n fancy that got me into multis so i am an old fan. It just seems that with the growth of his popularity his ego has grown as well. Now with his new reviews we have to hear 15 minutes of name dropping and watch him show 20 other knives and watch him flip thru a cold steel catalog BEFORE he actually starts to review the actual knife or multi. That's just Sssiiick!!! ;)
