I found something cool in an old package.

I was cleaning out some old packages that my parent's  had when I came across this little gem. I can remember seeing this way back in my youth. I can't exactly recall the date...possibly late 70s, early 80s if memory serves me right. Completely forgot about this until I re-found this.



Once opened, you realize it is a card type mini bartender.



Oddly enough, the corkscrew is oval in shape, as there wasn't enough room to make it round. The bottle opener and can opener work great, as does the small included knife.



It has found a place with my other card type multi-tools.

That looks pretty nice, kind of elegant.

How does the oval corkscrew work, that seems like it might be a bad design compromise :think:

That didn't work so good if I can recall...reason why it was relegated into long term storage.

Interesting to know that the card type multitool concept had been around since the 80'  :)
Multitools are the best thing that happened to mankind since the invention of the wheel!

I really like that.  Are there any indications on it to tell who made it?
If you took all the intestines out of your body and stretched them end to end... you would die.

All I could find was this, no maker or brand and this one looks like it folds, same tools including what looks like an oval corkscrew :tu:
