Does anyone collect vintage lunch boxes?
on: August 22, 2011, 01:56:31 AM
I was at a garage sale recently and bought a 1983 Cabbage Patch Kids lunch box. It is in very good shape and has the original thermos. I have been doing some looking around and see just the lunch box without the Thermos range in price quite a bit. I am looking for someone to tell me what it is worth. If we have an expert in the house I will post pictures. Thank you in advance.

I was recently cleaning out some kitchen cabinets in my parents house, and discovered a King Kong lunch box with matching thermos as well...that would date back to around 1977 I think.  I looked around online a bit and saw some similar valued at about $95.  I don't know if anybody would pay that much.  I also discovered an ole Lone Ranger jelly jar that's supposed to be worth a lot of money too.  I bookmarked the sites where I found some info...but now I can't find the bookmark.  Maybe there is somebody here that will know where to find info on this type of thing.
