Some of you may have noticed that I have been on here a lot recently. That's because for the last 9 days I have been off work playing with the kids, doing xmas shopping and doing odds and sods around the house. It's been lovely! Today is my last day though and I am back to work first thing in the morning. It really sucks to think that my holiday is now over. Don't you just hate that feeling?

I know exactly how you feel Its even worse when you hate your job . Have you any time off over Christmas ? I'm sure youve told us before but what do you do ? Dunc
I've been on the dole since March, and I hate Christmas; anyone want me to cover for them over the festive period?!
I didn't mind at all through the summer, got loads of surveys done & worked on my photography Now all the interesting wildlife is hibernating though I'm BORED!
I already do the reptile survey at Riverside. If people knew how many adders were there they'd never use the place If I did it in an 'official' capacity that would suffer a bit I think, and opportunities are few & far between. Can't work for the RSPB as we've had a massive barney this year about another site. Funnily enough I'm going to the Volunteer Bureau this week to see what's about.

Are they doing something rude As for the buckmaster, surely one in the south east is enough
Quote from: micky d on December 11, 2007, 10:08:18 PMAre they doing something rude As for the buckmaster, surely one in the south east is enough I hope not, they're two boys About 70m from the visitor centre I haven't got a Buckmaster (yet), but I'm sure that any Gillingham plod that saw it would only applaud me for carrying the right tool for the job
think of it this way Benner, you made another step closer to more tools/toys! bro
my worst feeling was last march, when I had to put my dog Deltta of 16 years to sleep, that was hard...
yeah, truly mans best friend. on the good side my dog had a good life and a lot of people liked her, I still laugh at some of the things she did!like chase her tail every morning or that look she had when she wanted to play (like every hour)
Doctor enters examination room with xrays."well, mr. patient, you are terminally ill. you have six weeks to live."puts it in perspective?
