Got My Gerber!
on: September 12, 2011, 02:08:58 PM
Well thanks to Evil510,and the great and informaed sugestions of the forum at large,I've now got a classic, non locking Multiplier!

Adding a wee bit of interest to the tool is that the chassis is Stainless, the tools and plier are all BO!

Anyway heres a couple of pixs

The Gerbers currently being cleaned,so more pix to come.

Its a very different sensation to a butterfly type tool, but I have to say I spent most of Saturday and Sunday playing with the Plier release!Great fun!
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

I like the look of the steel on those old Gerber pliers!  Bear and Son's the same.
Looks like good quality stuff.   I know all things being equal, I get a bit tired of
the frosted cast look, so it's nice to see the manufacturers mix it up a bit from
time to time. :)
