I was just thinking about alternate carry methods and though of carrying a SAK Classic or LM Squirt, Micra, or something of that type on a necklace. Does anyone do this? If so what do you carry and on what type of necklace? Pro's and Cons would be appreciated. The only down side I see is when carrying under your shirt sweat would be a issue and cause rust.

I don't carry an MT in that way, but I do wear a memory stick around my neck on most days. Be sure to get a nice comfortable break away lanyard...and not a chain. If you are going to wear it, comfort should be key here. Besides, a breakaway type lanyard is a good safety idea anyways.

Another good point about the lanyard, they tend to be long enough that I can chest pocket carry it in my lab coat.

Thanks for the heads up Chako. I was thinking about a Lanyard but I don't really want it to be very noticeable. I was thinking of something like military "dog tags" are held on, but that might be uncomfortable. I guess there is only one way to find out.

I carried this 22 lr pistol around my neck using paracord.I started with a dog tag chain but the 6oz weight caused it to get uncomfortable quick. The paracord wasn't too bad.No one knew it was there.

I used to have 2 of those. NAA makes a great Mini revolver.  :tu: Mine had the shorter barrel though.

Stole this picture of the net.

Great little gun.I carried it with an open chamber using a worn down 25 cal bore brush down the barrel and attached to the paracord.Very secure.Wish I still had it.

The new ones have "safety notches" in between cylinders. You half cock and pull the trigger to let the hammer down in a notch. There is no way to have a negligent discharge.

I never had one but the ones that attached to a belt buckle was cool.I used to collect guns and was usually at a gun show every week end.I discovered it's cheaper to collect SAKs and MTs.I still have a few guns but mostly for home protection and a couple that I carry on a daily basis.
